Cut Sizes
You need a 10" × 25" strip of fabric in total, with the print running along the 25" length. Cut sizes include a ¼" seam allowance on every sewn edge.
How to Piece It
- Cut pieces 1 and 3 with the print right side up.
- Cut piece 2, the Back, with the print upside down.
- Lay them out in order, top to bottom: Front + Bottom, Back, Top + Flap.
- Sew them right sides together along the 10" edges with a ¼" seam, and press the seams open.
- Quilt the panel, then trim it to 9" × 23".
Why flip the Back? The panel wraps around the bag, so it runs down the front, up the back and down the flap. Flipping the Back keeps your print upright on all three. Both seams land on the bag's folded edges, so they hide.

Cut Sizes
Cut sizes include a ¼" seam allowance on every sewn edge. Where two neighboring sections share a fabric, they're cut as one piece with no seam between them.
